Mrs. Deanna Riccardelli To All Instructors
Hello! I’m a homeschooling mom of three — two have already graduated, and my youngest is finishing up his high school years at home. Our family’s homeschool journey has been full of discovery, creativity, and more books than our shelves can hold!
I have a deep love for literature, art, and the beauty of words, and one of my greatest joys is helping others learn to love the written word. I believe stories have the power to shape how we see the world and each other — revealing truth, beauty, and goodness in everyday life.
In addition to homeschooling and teaching literature, I work as an educator for Mental Health America, visiting public schools throughout Lancaster County to help students build resilience, emotional awareness, and hope. I also serve at my church as the Refugee Coordinator, helping new families find community and support, and I’ve participated in several short-term missions outside of church settings.
When I’m not teaching or planning lessons, you’ll likely find me with a cup of coffee, a good book, and our cat, Mr. Kitterson, nearby — still learning, still creating, and always inspired by the ways faith, art, and compassion can meet in the everyday.
